We recently upgraded our DSView Software to v4.5.0.140 and our ACS6xxx's to v3.1.0.8 (we have a handful of ACS5K's in our system as well). Now I can no longer open a PuTTy session via IE9 (understanding that FF and Chrome use the Avocent viewer only). When I click on the serial session button, I get a pop-up as if Java is wanting to open a viewer, but nothing happens. Just sits there spinning its wheels. I do not see in the release documentation that PuTTy is no longer supported. Is there a prerequisite that I am missing or a setting that I need check on? I know that there were settings in DSView v4.1.0.166 for PuTTy, but do not see those in the update. I am looking more at DSView to be the issue or possibly the ACS plugins as we are seeing the same results on the ACS5K series as well. This may cause issues as the functionality of the Avocent viewer does not work for our needs. Suggestions?
