BMC Software infosec asks for the below things for scanning. This is the criteria for a scan to be successful and the reason why scan was giving an error every time. The ShellLogon scripts depend on the command prompt format to effectively send out shell commands. If the Administrator uses a custom command prompt, it must meet the following criteria: • The prompt must be terminated by a $, >, %, or # character (excluding. my prompt$) • The prompt must be surrounded by [ ] brackets (excluding. [my prompt]) • Color prompts are not supported For example, the following prompt would be successful: • [my prompt] # The following prompts would not be successful: • my prompt • my prompt# • [my prompt] [my prompt #] (colored prompt text) Please help me if you we can configure the machine according to the above creteria.
