Please can you help...? hilary.rodrigues@electrosonic.com Previous Correspondence I am contacting you because we have found a faulty Avocent PM3009H unit - serial number 0510237154. We have not been able to disconnect the over-current protection following your previous email, as follow: Hello, The PM3000 series is equipped with an over-current protection. The following are indicators that the over-current protection was triggered: - red LED on one, multiple or all outlets - EEE or FFF shown on the display - beep sound To reset the over-current protection press and hold one of the keys (SW1 or SW2) on the PM for at least two seconds or navigate with a web browser to the web interface of the unit and reset the over-current protection from there. On 32A models and 3 phase models the build-in fuse could have triggered as well and it may be necessary to replace it. For details see "Appendix D: Replacing the Fuses" on the PM1000/2000/3000 manual. The manual is available at http://tinyurl.com/cgbs7j6 (Avocent Power Management Distribution Unit > PM PDU Installer/User Guide). There is a fuse replacement kit available for purchase, the order number is ACC0001. Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Kind regards, Andreas Stempfhuber When we tried to press for over 2 seconds the SW1 and/or SW2 buttons the unit remains with the triple FFF and does not change or reboot the over-current protection. Also, we have not been able to reset the CPU pressing (for long and short time) the associated button for that purpose in the back of the unit and/or neither get web access to the control browser once the unit has been connected to the network (the unit can be identified in the network and get an IP, but we are not able to access to the control browser via Mozilla or Internet Explorer with the IP associated to manage the unit). The third try was to follow the manual for the device to access and reset the unit and go through the configuration process from the beginning, but I have not got any success as these unit have been preconfig from you for Google and we only have access via the support user. So, according with the above described, I would appreciate if you could advice how to proceed.
