Hello, The product description of the "Avocent SV340 KVM Switch" states: "Video resolutions up to UHD 4K (3840X2160 @ 30) can be achieved when using the DVI to HDMI cable . Can this max. resolution (3840X2160 @ 30) be achieved also with "regular" (dual-link) DVI cables, i.e. DVI => DVI ? 2.) Why should this resolution only work using DVI to HDMI cable ? (what is the reason for explicitly stating this requirement ?)
