Offline Activation:

 

Tech Support should check if the license interface is pointing to the correct location.

 

Prior of performing an Offline Activation, open Windows Explorer and browse to the following location, on the server where Matrix Manager Software will be installed

C:\Program Files\EmersonNetworkPower\ServedLicenseInterface

Locate the file name sliConfig, and open it in Notepad

The File contains the location of the license Server

Next Launch the Matrix Manager Software and Login as the administrator (admin/123)

 

Next in Matrix Manager Software, clock on the Settings Button to your left 

Next click the Licensing…. 

Input the Original Entitlement and follow the instructions on the screen. 

In the event that the Emerson License Server cannot be accessed a message window will appear requesting that a XML file is generated.

Hint: as you will be receiving 2 items per Entitlement, the process will have to be repeated twice (one for the product activation, and one for the maintenance).

Once the 2 XML files have been generated, and forwarded to Tech Support, now Tech Support will generate a Response XML to your request.

Tech Support will have to login to the ELM (Entitlement License Manager). Once logged into the ELM portal, click on the Offline tab.

From there click and browse and select one of the 2 received XML files generated by the Customer in the previous step. 

Once completed you will receive a New XML file for each XML files the customer generated inside the Matrix Manager Software. 

Next you are ready to import the “Response.XML” generated in the previous step into the Matrix Manager Software.

Then Click for each XML file to Active.

That is all,…. Your Product is now registered.
