Hi,
We are suffering an annoying issue which prevents the power management of the our ACS attached PDUs.
When it happens, we have to login to the ACS and issue a /etc/init.d/power-mgmt restart. When we do this it shows an error. So I suspect the process crashes
[root@eux2400134 ~]# cat /var/run/pmdng.pid
20028
[root@eux2400134 ~]# ps aux | grep 20028
root 14420 0.0 0.6 9184 1692 pts/1 S+ 14:17 0:00 grep 20028
[root@eux2400134 ~]# /etc/init.d/power-mgmt restart
Restarting power management service.
start-stop-daemon: warning: failed to kill 20028: No such process
We have observed this in a wide variety of versions. I've been trying to find related information unsuccessfully.
- Is this issue known?
- Do yon know of a version which fixes this issue?
- Is there any workaround while we can update all of our installed base?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
