Hi, I am planning to deploy a configuration where 8 PM3000 PDU's are managed via an ACS 6000 console server. I plan to to daisy chain 2 groups of 4 PDU's each. On the ACS, one serial port is connected to the OUT port of master PDU och each group. The serial ports on the ACS will be configured in "Avocent PDU" mode. My understanding is that is this configiration, the individual power state of each outlet, can be managed via the ACS Web Manager. It's unclear still to me if the individual outlets are also controllable via ACS CLI - I have not yet been able to locate the documentataion for the ACS CLI. One thing that I need to understand, is that whether or not it's necessary to connect the network port of each PDU in the above configuration. Would it still be needed for something like firmware upgrade, logging, other communication?
