Forum Post: ACS 6000. Java error using webgui with IE 11

1Hi We have been using the ACS 6000 series switch for a good number of years (three ACS6048's and an ACS6016). Our organization recently standardized on IE 11 and we upgraded the firmware from 2.5.0.12 to 3.1.0.13 to support the browser. We are staring to have problems using the webgui to open a console session for our servers. In some cases, we get multiple Java security prompts that even after we clicked 'Run' and 'Allow', it just shows a blank. Even after adding the ACS's IP's to the exception list, it makes no difference. In other cases, a Java error occurs saying ClassNotFound. We are running Windows 7, IE 11 and Java 1.7. We can workaround by connecting to the ACS via SSH and going that way, but most of us are used to the webgui so we would like to resolve this. Thanks in advance. Here is the output from the Java console regarding the ClassNotFound error: Missing Application-Name: manifest attribute for: https://142.148.15.101/mindterm.jar Missing Permissions manifest attribute for: https://142.148.15.101/mindterm.jar Missing Codebase manifest attribute for: https://142.148.15.101/mindterm.jar
