After trying several different methods and a few calls to support I still cant get a proper SSL cert installed. My company uses globalsign for the SSL certs. I sent globalsign my CSR and they delivered a cert in PKCS7 format but when I go to install it DSView says invalid format. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to proceed? I am not well versed in certs and support doesn't seem to have a handle on anything other than the self signed certs.

The Entire viewer package can be manually installed by doing the following: go into the DSVIEW server and look for the file "avctviewerlauncher.msi" Take a copy of it and put it on your desktop, once there execute the file and let it install. Now restart your browser, and launch a new session.

Good day! I have problem with Avocent 3016 KVM (latest firmware) + ATEN LCD1000 CONSOLE (PS/2) Keyboard forks fine. Mouse dosent work. If i connect stanalone ps/2 mouse - it works. if i connect ATEN LCD1000 direct to server - mouse works fine. if i connect ATEN LCD1000 to HP KVM (aka rebranded avocent 3016) - mouse works fine. any ideas? thanks!

Hi, i'm trying to access my cisco equipment console port by using ACS6000, I manage to login to the ts_menu and after i key in the password and verified (i did a test by purposely key in the wrong password and the system indeed probe for password again if wrong password entered). but the problem is i dont see anything my password being authenticated. it just stopped after these 2 lines. Type the hot key to suspend the connection: Z Type the hot key to close the connection: X anyone can help?

I'm thinking this started after the last Java update. I'm currently running Java Version 8 Update 51. The AutoView version is (I think) 01.01.01.07. Forum Post: should an ACS6000 allow packet forwarding?
In the Firewall section of the ACS 6000 Installer/User Guide, it says that all packets are allowed through the FORWARD chain. I suspect this is backed by iptables. Then, this means that the ACS 6000 is routing packets over a network. I thought the ACS 6000 was just supposed to provide connectivity to serial ports over a network, meaning the packets ought to either be received and passed to a serial port or come from a serial port and passed to the network. There should be no reason for the device to route packets over a network, so please confirm that setting a policy to drop all packets in the FORWARD chain would be more secure and would not impact functionality.
